Hi @Veronica79,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot your HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer.

Check Ink Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove them and reinsert them to confirm they're seated correctly.

Clean Printhead:

  • Go to the printer settings and look for an option to clean the printhead. This can help if the printhead is clogged.

Run Printer Diagnostic:

  • Use the printer's built-in diagnostic tools. Check the printer’s display or software for any diagnostic options that might help identify the issue.

Check Ink Levels:

  • Verify that the ink cartridges are not empty or low. Sometimes new cartridges can be faulty, so double-check their status.

Printer Firmware Update:

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. Visit the HP website and download the latest firmware if needed.

Printer Settings:

  • Make sure the printer settings are correct and that it is set to print in color if needed.

Check for Blockages:

  • Look inside the printer for any obstructions or debris that might be affecting printing.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Software Issues:

  • If printing from a computer, ensure the printer drivers are up to date. Reinstalling the printer software might help.

Test with Different Paper:

  • Sometimes paper quality or type can affect printing. Try a different type of paper to see if that resolves the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
