OJPro 8710-952/952XL cartr.'s-tri-colour cartr.'s show diff. succs. results but always one empty:
These cartridges were purchased as a tri-colour box set on 04MAY24 from Staples here in Tsawwassen (Delta, B.C.), Canada. A scan of the retail receipt is available on request.
For a printer that hardly ever gets used, the tri-colour ink seems to evaporate or something ... I go to use the printer to print a critical black & white document and there's always one colour cartridge that reports it's empty. The printer won't function w/o every cartr. showing some ink! Thanks for nothing HP.
If I pop the empty cartridge out and back in, a different colour will then show as empty!
First it was Yellow, then Cyan. A photo of the printer ink remaining display is available on request.
Staples won't do anything for me and says to take the matter up with HP Support.
The Cyan cartridge is marked 'L0S49A, Warranty ends: 2025/09, Made in Singapore'.
The Magenta cartridge is marked 'L0S52A, Warranty ends: 2025/09, Made in Singapore'.
The Yellow cartridge is marked 'L0S55A, Warranty ends: 2025/09, Made in Singapore'.
I want them replaced and shipped to me free of charge ... I can get an entirely new, comparable HP printer (i.e. OJPro 8135e) for the money I'd have to spend on another box of tri-colour cartidges!
Long-time (and currently highly disatisfied) HP printer user (my first was an HP DeskJet 870Cxi).

Evaporation and Ink Usage: Even when the printer is not actively printing, ink can evaporate over time. This is more pronounced in environments with fluctuating temperatures or if the printer is not used regularly.
Check for Leaks: Inspect the cartridge for any signs of physical damage or leaks. If a cartridge is defective, it could be leaking, leading to empty cartridges despite lack of usage.
Printer Settings: Ensure that your print settings are optimal. For instance, using high print quality settings for minimal printing can deplete ink faster due to increased ink usage per print.
HP Instant Ink: If you're enrolled in HP Instant Ink, the printer might be keeping tabs on usage differently based on subscription settings.
Print Diagnostics: Run a print diagnostic test from the printer settings to ensure that all components are functioning correctly and to identify if any color in the tri-color cartridge is depleting faster than expected.
Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the cartridges are installed correctly in the printer. Improper installation can prevent the printer from properly recognizing the ink levels.

With the exception of your advice re: "Evaporation ... " (which I have little control over except to say that my house is set back / down to 10° C every winter [I am in the Vancouver, Canada area ... so, not particularly hot in summer nor cold in winter ... however ... we do see freezing temps outdoors in winter] - what I'm getting at here is that the interior of my domicile is at the lower end of the spectrum vis-a-vis evaporation potential - which should not be my problem anyway) & "Printer Settings" (I did set my my Adobe Reader & Photoshop s/w to print in minimalist greyscale ... the exact terminology of the print setting options escapes me just now as I am out & about, working on a tablet away from home) none of the rest of your individual suggestions is applicable & I am not enrolled in "HP Instant Ink" ... I have watched the printer's small display go through various alternating 'no ink in ____ cartridge' (with the latter blank being 'Yellow', then 'Cyan' ... so far 'Magenta' has not caused any problems but the ink level appears low in the Estimated Cartridge Levels* display regardless) messages and it ultimately, eventually, always decides it won't print anything ... I don't believe I can run any diagnostics under the current circumstances ... don't I have to have ink in all 4 cartr.'s to do any meaningful & effective diagnostics / print tests?
What I seek is warranty replacement of this box of tri-colour cartr.'s that say they are warranted until 2025 09 - are you going to help me with that? Yes or No?

At 10:33 AM on 11JUL25, Kuroi_Kenshi suggested moving our discussion to a private chat (using the Private Messaging system here).
Kuroi_Kenshi Sent me a PM @ 11:34 AM that same day.
I Reply'd shortly thereafter that same day, responding fully with the issues encountered navigating to a phone support option that Kuroi_Kenshi advocated.

Thank you for getting back. The image is ok, however, the serial number shared shows it is not a valid serial number or the account. Could you please re-check the serial number or print a network test page and share it in a private message, not in public, so I can check and help in a private message.

VikramTheGreat ... I believe printing a network test page is, by HP design, impossible when a single cartridge (out of 4) shows empty ... I am not at home now but will check the original box label & printer spec. plate for a serial number when I get home and then relay that info (if different than what HP 'My Devices' shows online) via PM.
