HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I have an Office Jet Pro 7740 that is region locked to only accept 953, 953xl, and 957xl cartridges.  Where I live now I can only purchase 952 and 952xl cartridges.  This printer was purchased in the UAE and i now live in the USA. How can I fix this issue

The HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 is region-locked, which means the printer only accepts cartridges specific to the region it was purchased in. Since you bought it in the UAE, it will only accept 953, 953XL, and 957XL cartridges, and unfortunately, the 952 and 952XL cartridges available in the USA won't work directly.

To fix this issue, you can contact HP support and request a region reset. They will ask for proof of purchase and may guide you through a reset process that aligns your printer with the USA region. After the reset, your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 should accept 952 and 952XL cartridges.
