Hello good people, I would like to ask for advice on what could be the issue with my OfficeJet 6950.

Yesterday I have replaced the black ink, obviously authentic HP. Went through the usual steps that are associated with this and never had an issue in past 3 years. I do not replace the colour cartridges as I only ever print B&W and also never had issues.

But now suddenly the printer doesnt print at all, I have spend already like 2 hours troubleshooting. There are zero error messages. Whatever I do, it just spits out completely blank pages. Any advice? Thank you

Edit: If I do have to take it for repairs, is it worth on a printer I got for £86 3years ago? I mean I can only imagine that the costs associated with despatch, repair and return may as well be not worth.

I see that printer does not print in black and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. The printer repair isn't worth it as you'd get a new printer for the same cost.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the upgrade options.
