Hi, I’m having a Supply System Problem.

I have 2 cyans.

Cyan 1 isn’t detected (Supply System Problem), so I replace with a new cyan 2.

Cyan 2 is detected. But after a few minutes, is UNDETECTED with the Supply System Problem returning.

Magenta Yellow and Black all remain detected, no “️” comes up on them ever.IMG_5DABAEEB-BEFC-4E05-971C-E1D781ACB192.jpeg

Hi @GiangN

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 is experiencing a recurring issue with detecting cyan ink cartridges. Here are steps to troubleshoot:

Step 1: Verify Cartridge Authenticity

Ensure both cyan cartridges are genuine HP cartridges. Non-genuine or refilled cartridges can cause detection issues.

Step 2: Clean Cartridge Contacts

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  2. Remove the cyan cartridge.
  3. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water to clean the cartridge contacts and the corresponding contacts inside the printer.
  4. Reinsert the cartridge and restart the printer.

Step 3: Reset the Printer

  1. Disconnect the power cord while the printer is on.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Step 4: Update Printer Firmware

Visit the HP Support page to update your printer firmware. This can resolve compatibility issues with cartridges.

Let me know how it goes!
