On my Samsung S8+ I cnnot change AUTO default Ink output quality to BEST. I have to set it to BEST e

No error messages it just WILL NOT allow me to change DEFAULT output quality from AUTO to BEST.

@Stumpy1947 Welcome to HP Community!

 

I understand that Samsung S8+ you can not change the AUTO default Ink output quality to BEST.

 

Please reinstall the service plugins and check.

 

Please check for the updates on you are mobile.

Hi Praveen196, I have uninstalled apps & reinstalled them + looked for any updates. I STILL cannot change the default to best & it reverts back to AUTO when I go back to print my document! So I still end up with a POOR quality document. CAN you SET the DEFAULT to BEST in your software so at least we have a presentable document every time !

Please update the printer firmware

 

Then change the printer preferences  using hp smart app
