Our MF578 HP Printer is leaving black lines and faded black ink on every page it prints. Please help. Any tips, tricks, videos you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Change your black cartridge. If faded and leaving lines likely it is worn out or defective. Is this OEM or 3rd party? If OEM and the cartridge does not read "low" you can claim a warranty. Do that by printing a test page and the supplies status page and returning the cartridge to place of purchase for warranty replacement. If 3rd party, talk to the vendor.

Above assumes that the black print is the only problem you are having.

Vertical lines could also be a sign of issues with the transfer belt but in most cases those lines are a grey or mix mash of all colors.
