Envy 44520
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I inherited this Envy4520 all-in-one printer.  Ink cartridges (HP 63) are both more than 50% full.  Networked to Lenovo laptop, windows 10, Chrome browser. I have followed all of the troubleshooting/cleaning procedures multiple times, to no avail. Alignment is not possible because printed page cannot be scanned. The color is very faint, and black is nearly non-existent on the page.  Warranty expired 9/2018.  Is the issue fixable, or do I need a new printer??

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Since the device is out of warranty, and we've concluded that this is a hardware malfunction, I may have a few pointers/suggestions to help you out, however, since these suggestions are limited to you and your printer alone, I'd like to send out a private message with those details.
