PRINTER INK

OFFICEJET PRO 8500A

The past few months I have been needing to replace my colored printer cartridges more and more.  I am now down to every 30 days my printer won't let me print until I replace my cartridge even though I NEVER print in color.  Any ideas on why this is happening?  It's getting expensive and I'm wasting so many completely full cartridges.

@NLKPROP1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

This printer does not support printing in single-cartridge mode. All 4 ink cartridges should be present in the printer and have a good amount of ink in them for you to either print in black or color. 

 

Kindly replace the empty/low ink cartridges to resume printing.
