Hi @PRINT-2,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When your HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 stops printing even though paper is feeding through, there are several potential issues to consider. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your printer has enough ink. If cartridges are empty or low, replace them.

Check Ink Cartridge Installation: Make sure the ink cartridges are installed properly. Remove them and reinstall to ensure they are securely and correctly placed.

Print a Test Page: Try printing a test page directly from the printer's control panel to bypass any software issues on your computer.

Check Printer Settings: Make sure the printer is not set to "Use blank ink only" if you are trying to print in color.

Printhead Cleaning: It's possible that the printhead is clogged. Use the printer’s built-in tool to clean the printhead. You can usually find this option in the printer's maintenance or tools menu.

Check for Software Updates: Ensure that your printer firmware and drivers are up to date. You can check for updates on the HP website or through the HP Smart app.

Examine the Paper: Use the right kind of paper and make sure it’s not damaged, damp, or too thick.

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a minute, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes resolve minor communication issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
