Microsoft Windows 11

I PURCHASED AND INSTALLED AN HP OFFICEJET PRO 9015 AT MY HOME OFFICE. IT CAME WITH INSTANT INK WHICH SOUNDED LIKE A COOL IDEA. HOWEVER, I DO NOT USE THIS PRINTER VERY OFTEN. I JUST NEEDED TO HAVE ONE IN CASE I NEEDED TO PRINT. SO, MONEY KEPT BEING DEBITED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND YET THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT I NEEDED AN IINK CARTRIDGE. SO AFTER ABOUT A YEAR, I CANCELLED THE INSTANT INK AND THE PRINTER IMMEDIATELY STOPPED WORKING!  THIS DOES NOT SET WELL WITH ME.  I BROUGHT IT INTO THE OFFICE THINKING THAT PERHAPS I WOULD PRINT MORE OFF OF IT MAKING THE INSTANT INK WORTHWHILE, BUT IT STILL WON'T START.

It is unfortunate that Instant Ink was not the right program for you.  When an HP Instant Ink account is cancelled the Instant Ink cartridges must be replaced with retail cartridges.    See sections 5.d and 9.c of the terms of service here.

Even though the cartridges were the original host cartridges for the printer, they were marked as Instant Ink cartridges when you signed up for the Instant Ink and must now be replaced.
