Solved!
PRINTER

I have a HP deskjet 2130. The tri-colour ink alert is flickering. The black ink cartridge is new and I already set the printer preferences to black-and-white. But it still won't print. Does HP deskjet 2130 print even though the tri colour ink cartridge is empty or does it have to be both ink cartridges to have some ink in it?

The Deskjet 2130 will print with an empty color (or black, but not both) cartridge. You can also remove the color cartridge entirely and the printer will automatically switch to single-cartridge mode. In the case of removing a color cartridge the printer would print colors in grayscale.
