My printer prints my document.  It comes out blank.  I have 3/4 ink on both black and colour.  I have never printed before.  I have only just set it up.  It took me ages to set up now i finally did and it comes out blank.  Soooooo annoying.  Anyone got any tips.  I can't clean print heads etc on this model.

I understand you are facing an issue with printing blank pages from your HP DeskJet 2332 All-In-One Printer can be quite frustrating. 

 

Here are a few steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer Configuration

Ensure the Ink Cartridges are Installed Correctly:

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Make sure the cartridges are securely installed in their slots.
  • Close the access door.

Verify the Paper Type:

  • Ensure you are using the correct type of paper for your print job.
  • Adjust the paper settings in the print driver to match the paper type loaded in the printer.

2. Print a Test Page

  • Print a Self-Test Page:
    • Turn on the printer.
    • Load plain white paper into the input tray.
    • Press and hold the Power button, then press the Cancel button.
    • Release both buttons. A self-test page should print. If it prints correctly, the issue might be with your document or print settings.

3. Check Ink Levels

  • Verify Ink Levels:
    • Make sure both black and color cartridges have sufficient ink. Even if one cartridge is low, it can affect printing.
    • Open the HP Smart app on your Windows 11 computer to check the ink levels.

4. Perform Printer Maintenance

  • Clean Ink Cartridges:
    • Since you mentioned you can't clean print heads directly, try the software cleaning tool:
      • Open the HP Smart app on your computer.
      • Go to "Printer Settings" or "Printer Maintenance."
      • Look for the option to clean the printhead and follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Update Printer Drivers Software and Drivers for HP DeskJet 2332 All-in-One Printer

  • Update or Reinstall Drivers:
    • Go to the HP website and download the latest drivers for the HP DeskJet 2332.
    • Uninstall the current printer drivers from your computer.
    • Restart your computer and reinstall the latest drivers.

6. Reset the Printer

  • Perform a Hard Reset:
    • With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
    • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
    • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
    • Plug the power cord back into the power source and then reconnect it to the printer.
    • Turn the printer on if it does not automatically turn on.

7. Check Document and Print Settings

  • Ensure Document is Set to Print in Color:
    • Sometimes documents might be set to print in a color that is not distinguishable (like white text on white paper).
    • Check your document's text color and print settings.

8. Use HP Print and Scan Doctor HP Print and Scan Doctor 

  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:
    • Download and install the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility from the HP website.
    • Run the utility to diagnose and fix any issues with the printer.

9. Test Printing from Different Applications

  • Try Printing from Another Application:
    • Open a different application, like Notepad or WordPad.
    • Type a simple text and try printing it to see if the issue persists.
