Does anyone know where I can get a paper copy of the user guide for my HP 234 sdw laser printer.  I don’t want a download where I have to print out  156 pages

HP Recommended

There are no more paper copy of user manuals for several years not to save paper, it's free for download and use it in pdf or print it yourself.
