Unlikely, though it does depend on how well you know the application or software you are using and the settings you select when scanning or using scan > Import > edit .

It is possible to deliberately create "negative" and other types of result using photo editing tools.

For example, HP Smart includes several filters that can change the entire character of a photo.

Reminder

Filters not show up on their own - ignore the information if it is not relevant.
