I found a FIX for this problem on my printer and would like the community to be aware.
Printer will not print either Magenta or Light Magenta (standard 'Test Page')
However, both colors print when the "Extended Self Test Diagnostic Page" is printed.
(Magenta prints as 'Lavender')
"Reset the Control Board" as follows:
1. Disassemble the right side panel to access the control PWB
2. Remove the control PWB (ensure you have grounded your body before touching the board)
3. Locate the 3 volt Battery
4. Remove the battery, confirm voltage using VOM, and reinstall battery
5. Reassemble the unit
Additionally, I did the following, just to be safe:
a) remove all cartridges before powering up
b) power up
c) install cartridges
This cleared the fault and now the printer works fine
