My color print quality is very poor on my HP ENVY Photo 7855 Printer. When I print, the colors come out looking striped with a darker version of the color, and a lighter version. I have gone to printer maintenance under main settings and done both the "clean cartridges" and "align cartridges" options, but neither have helped. When the diagnostics page was printed after I cleaned the cartridges, it said to go to settings, tools, and then align printer, but I do not see "tools" under settings. This has been going on for several months, but I am just now having time to address it. Please help!
Have you checked if the ink cartridges need to be changed? I had a similar issue with my 7855 and realized it still had the original install cartridges in it from when I purchased a few months prior. There is a limited amount of ink in those cartridges and fortunately since I was on the InstantInk program, I just had to go through the motions of putting the new cartridges in. You may need to refresh yourself on how to do it, as I had to do the same since I had not printed in a while.
