Hi @NFisher,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to adjust the print quality on your HP DeskJet 4152e All-in-One Printer and darken the prints, follow these steps:
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the HP website or app store.
- Select your HP DeskJet 4152e printer from the list of devices.
- Click on "Print" or "Print Document" to open the print settings.
- In the print settings window, look for "Printer Properties" or "Preferences" and click on it.
- Find the "Quality" or "Print Quality" option. This might be under a tab or section like "Paper/Quality" or "Advanced."
- Adjust the print quality settings. You may see options like "Draft," "Normal," or "Best." For darker prints, select "Best" or a higher quality setting. Some printers also have options for "Darkness" or "Density" that you can adjust.
- Confirm and apply the settings by clicking "OK" or "Apply."
- Print a test page to check if the adjustments meet your needs.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
