Hi @FirstDH,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2775 printer is still producing faded prints despite having new cartridges and cleaning the print heads, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure that the cartridges are installed correctly and securely. Remove them and reinstall them if necessary.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a test page to check if the issue persists. This can help you determine if the problem is with the printer or the specific document you're trying to print.

Adjust Print Settings:

  • Check your print settings in the printer software. Make sure you're not set to a lower quality mode (like "Draft" or "Economy") which can result in faded prints. Set it to "Normal" or "Best" quality.

Perform a Deep Cleaning:

  • Run a deep cleaning cycle if your printer software provides this option. This can help clear stubborn clogs in the print heads.

Check Paper Quality:

  • Ensure you are using the right type of paper for your print job. Low-quality or incorrect paper can affect print quality.

Inspect the Print Heads:

  • Check for any physical damage to the print heads. If they are damaged, you may need to replace the print head or the printer.

Firmware Update:

  • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. Check the HP website for the latest updates.

Environmental Factors:

  • Ensure the printer is in an appropriate environment (not too humid or dry) as extreme conditions can affect print quality.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • If you recently installed any new software, it may conflict with your printer drivers. Try uninstalling any recent software to see if that resolves the issue.

Try these suggestions, and hopefully, your print quality will improve!

Take care and have a good day.
