Print in black ink only

The color ink cartridges are depleted but I still have a full black ink cartridge. I would like to print in black ink only but my HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 will no longer allow me to print in black ink only. The printer previously allowed me to select black ink only but now the printer is not offering that option and continues to prompt me to replace the color ink cartridges. I just want to be able to continue to print in black ink without replacing the color cartridges at this time.

Sorry, not possible.

This printer type requires that all ink cartridges be installed and functional - that includes having ink in all cartridges.

You can certainly choose to print in black / white -- the printer requires color ink be available.
