Print quality is ALWAYS bad for the first few inches of large, double-sided file.

My printer prints terrible quality for the first few inches of any print job.  It's as if it does not want to wait to recieve the full file, and prints a super-low-res version until it loads the rest.  It feels rushed.

My printer prints slanted/crooked.  It is much worse/exagerated when printing double-sided 11x17" tabloid pages (the reason for purchase).

I am doing a good and straight job loading the paper tray.

As the paper moves through the printer the print becomes slanted or the paper gets shifted creating the slant.

I could really use some help with this.
