Hi there,
I'm having problems printing color. The colors have streaky splotches like the ink isn't printing fully (they're all new HP genuine cartridges, so that's not the issue). Black prints fine, and everything is clear. I've cleaned the printhead about a dozen times by now, but the test page always prints the same, so its not helping. I'm looking for a couple answers:
1. Is there some DIY repair/replacement I can do to fix this issue? (I saw someone suggest elsewhere about replacing the entire printhead yourself, but it was for a different model printer).
2. Is it possible to get my out-of-warranty printer serviced, by HP or elsewhere (in CA, USA)? I can't seem to reach a real human to get any help.
I don't want to buy a new printer because it still works great for black and white, but the occasional color printing just won't cut it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair/upgrade.
