My printer is a HP Inkject 6962, I have the cartridge problem error that asks me to remove and reinstall the cartridges. I have done this, replaced them entirely, and done lots of other things suggested online. It won’t let me do anything (print or even clean the print head). Is the printhead removable? If not I have no idea how to clean it or get this thing to work....

If the printer is asking for genuine HP cartridges then the ones you have cannot be used.

If the printer is asking for the the setup cartridges that originally came with the printer then you need to do a bypass.

Some printer can bypass the setup cartridges
This bypass works with
HP Officejet 6978, 6962, 6968, 6950

Let me know if you have a flex system (WiFi boosters or repeaters) as the setup is more complicated.
