Printer Cyan not printing/ suspect blocked print head

Office jet All-in-one 8012 model 1KR71B .  ser.number TH05L3Q32C .From day one on recieving my new printer from H.P.direct I had problems with printing  CYAN colour , at first I had the incompatible message  I plodded on cleaning the cartridges and the print head and used uploads of paper and all the ink however My new ink arrived when I signed up to ink replacement but the printer still did not print CYAN colour although the message incompatible had disapeared. I have used all the tests and actions several times over and I purchased a print head cleaning kit from Octopus in Germany but to no avail. I'm thinking replacement print head. any sugestions.
