Cannt change ink cartridge as I cannot open the ink compartment

Hi @Cvplagency,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
 

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble removing the cartridges from the slot, please try the steps shared below and let me know if this helps

To replace the cartridges 
1. Check that power is on. 

2. Remove the old cartridge. 
a. Open the cartridge access door. 
b. Open the latch on the cartridge slot. And then remove the cartridge from the slot. 

3. Insert a new cartridge. 
a. Remove the cartridge from packaging. ENWW Replace the cartridges 59 
b. Remove plastic tape using the pull tab. NOTE: Do not touch the electrical contacts on the cartridge. 
c. Slide the new cartridge in the slot and close the latch until it clicks. 

4. Close the cartridge access door.
