I'm trying to print a one-page pdf that is a black ink only blank monthly calendar. The printer acts like it's printing but yields a blank page. The black ink cartridge ink level is low, but not empty. When I push the "i" button on the printer itself it prints the "Printer Information Page." Everything on it appears perfectly. The black print is dark and full. Clearly the black ink cartridge still has plenty of black ink. That page has far more content than my blank calendar page.
Why won't it print my calendar and how do I fix this?

If I select b/w copy it produces a blank page. If I select color copy it copies the info page in what looks like black.
After continuing to work on this following posting my question, I started to wonder if what you pointed out was the case, i.e., "When you press the I button the page is printed with color ink mixing it to look like black." One of the pdfs I tried also printed, but it must have been for the same reason, even though it appears all in grey, which I wouldn't think the color cartridge alone could do. I tested this by printing that page after changing the print setting to B/W only printing, and that produced a blank page.
I replaced the Black cartridge and it's working fine now, so I guess the old cartridge was just completely empty.
Thank you for your reply.

Blank Pages When Printing Documents – But Printer Info Page Works
If the Printer Information Page prints correctly, the printer hardware is fine.
Blank pages from documents suggest a driver, software, or ink problem.
Reinstall the printer driver, check ink levels, and confirm correct print settings.
