Printer cartridge insert

I’m trying to load the ink cartridges and one is all the way to the right, how do I move it to the left so I can access to insert cartridge?

@Jae11, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Clear the carriage path of any jammed paper, or reset the printer if the carriage has no jammed paper. For detailed troubleshooting, go to 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays.
Also, Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

I unplugged the printer, waited 10 seconds, then plugged it back in. Then, and ONLY then, was I able to insert the cartridges. But now there's an eerie purple light glowing on the front. I'm pretty sure aliens are going to take over this PITA printer. Good luck!
