Printer has stopped doing anything in color - except for Yellow. Whenever I try and print other colors, they all print as varying shades of yellow. Ink levels are all good in both the black and color cartridge. HP Officejet 4650. I've tried cleaning and aligning several times.

Hi @Leegold1986,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're dealing with a color printing issue where only yellow is coming through correctly. Since you've already tried cleaning and aligning the printer, here are a few more steps you can take:
Check the Cartridges:
- Make sure the color cartridges are installed correctly. Remove them and reinstall them to ensure they're seated properly.
- Check for any protective tape or packaging that might still be on the cartridges.
Check the Print Head:
- Sometimes the print head can get clogged or dirty. You might need to perform a deep cleaning cycle. You can usually find this option in the printer's maintenance menu.
Print Head Alignment:
- Even though you've aligned the printer, try running the alignment process again. Sometimes a second attempt can help.
Inspect for Firmware Updates:
- Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes updates can fix issues related to printing colors.
Check Printer Settings:
- Ensure that the printer settings are set to print in color and not just black and white or grayscale.
Test Different Paper:
- Sometimes the type of paper can affect color output. Try printing on different types of paper to see if that makes a difference.
Run Printer Diagnostics:
- Use the built-in diagnostic tools available through the printer’s control panel or the HP Smart app to see if there are any issues that need to be addressed.
Replace Cartridges:
- Even if the ink levels seem fine, there could still be an issue with the cartridges. Try replacing the color cartridges with new ones to see if that resolves the problem.
