Hi @Purvo,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is skipping during printing, it could be due to various issues such as clogged printheads, low ink, incorrect settings, or even driver problems. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check Ink or Toner Levels

  • Make sure your ink or toner cartridges are not low or empty.
  • Replace any depleted cartridges if necessary.

Clean Printheads (For Inkjet Printers)

  • Open the HP printer software and locate the option to clean the printhead.
  • You can usually find this in the "Maintenance" or "Tools" section.
  • Follow the prompts to complete the printhead cleaning process.

Run a Printer Diagnostic

  • Print a diagnostic page or alignment page from the printer’s control panel.
  • This can help identify any print quality issues such as missing lines or streaks.

Adjust Print Settings

  • Ensure the print quality is set to best or normal (not draft) in the print settings.
  • Check if the correct paper type is selected for the document you are printing.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Go to the HP support website and check for any driver updates for your specific printer model.
  • Reinstall the printer drivers if they are outdated or corrupted.

Check Paper Quality and Size

  • Use high-quality paper and ensure it matches the type and size settings in your printer's settings.

Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Turn it on and try printing again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
