Hi @Fusionalex,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing printing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e, where pages are not printing fully and words are missing. Additionally, you mentioned that when printing from Excel, borders are missing. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve these issues.

  • Check Ink Levels: Make sure your printer has sufficient ink or toner. Low ink levels can lead to incomplete or faded prints.
  • Clean Print Heads: Print heads can become clogged, causing printing problems. Most printers have a utility for cleaning print heads. Refer to your printer's manual or software for instructions on how to perform this maintenance task.
  • Check Paper Settings: Ensure that you have selected the correct paper size and type settings in both the printer settings and the print dialog box in Excel. Incorrect settings can result in misaligned or incomplete printing.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can cause printing issues. Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your OfficeJet Pro 8035e model.
  • Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in. Power it on and try printing again.
  • Print Preview: Before printing from Excel, use the Print Preview feature to see how the document will appear on paper. This can help identify any missing content or formatting issues before you print.
  • Adjust Page Margins: If words or content are getting cut off, it could be due to incorrect page margins. Adjust the margins in your Excel document to ensure all content fits within the printable area.
  • Check Excel Print Settings: Double-check the print settings in Excel. Make sure you're not inadvertently set to print only a selection or a specific range of cells.
  • Test with Another Program: Try printing from a different application or software to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to Excel or more general.
  • Print a Test Page: Most printers have a built-in test page function. This can help identify whether the issue is with the printer itself or with the communication between your computer and the printer.
  • Check for Updates: Ensure that your Excel software is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can address compatibility issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
