Printer is printing blank pages.  Test page was good.

It sounds like your HP printer is having trouble with regular prints despite a successful test page. 

 

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

 

Check Ink or Toner Levels – Even if the test page printed fine, low ink or toner could still cause blank prints. Verify the levels and replace any empty cartridges.

 

Clean the Printhead – If you're using an inkjet printer, clogged printheads might be the culprit. You can run the cleaning tool from the printer’s settings or via the HP Smart app.

 

Verify Print Settings – Ensure that the correct paper type, size, and quality settings are selected in the print dialog box.

 

Update Printer Firmware & Drivers – Outdated firmware or drivers can cause printing issues. Check HP’s support site for updates. 

 

Run Windows Printer Troubleshooter – Windows 11 has a built-in troubleshooter that can detect and fix common printing problems.

 

Restart the Printer – Power off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes, then restart it to clear any temporary glitches.
