My printer has an E0 error message and the sheet it prints out is saying I’m not enrolled on the HP instant ink programme but I am. I’ve tried removing the cartridges , cleaning them , turning printer on and off but the error is not clearing 😕

Hi @ChrisNav,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to deal with the E0 error and the Instant Ink enrollment issue. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this:
Step 1: Verify Instant Ink Enrollment
- Check Your Account:
- Log into your HP Instant Ink account on the HP website to confirm your enrollment status and make sure your payment information is up to date.
Step 2: Reinstall Cartridges
- Remove and Clean:
- Turn off the printer and remove the cartridges.
- Clean the gold contacts on the cartridges with a lint-free cloth.
- Reinstall the cartridges, ensuring they are seated correctly.
Step 3: Reset the Printer
- Power Cycle:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Step 4: Update Printer Firmware
- Check for Updates:
- Use the HP Smart app or go to the HP support website to see if there are any firmware updates available for your printer.
Step 5: Re-Enroll in Instant Ink
- Remove Printer from Instant Ink:
- Log into your Instant Ink account and remove your printer from your account.
- Re-add the Printer:
- Follow the prompts to re-enroll your printer in the Instant Ink program.
Step 6: Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and Run the Tool: This tool can help diagnose and fix various issues, including those related to Instant Ink.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
