Hi @Sha1211,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printer is not printing cyan even after replacing the cartridge and performing head cleaning and alignment, try the following steps:
Troubleshooting Steps:
Check Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure the new cyan cartridge is properly installed and securely seated in the printer.
Run a Print Head Cleaning Cycle:
- Run a more thorough print head cleaning cycle through the printer’s settings. This option can usually be found in the maintenance or tools menu.
Check for Clogs:
- If the issue persists, manually check the print head for clogs. You can do this by running a test print or checking the print head for any visible blockages.
Perform a Print Quality Diagnostic:
- Print a diagnostic page to check if the cyan channel is entirely blocked or if there are any other issues.
Check Ink Levels:
- Double-check the ink levels for all cartridges to ensure they are adequate.
Reset Printer Settings:
- Sometimes, resetting the printer to factory settings can resolve persistent issues. Refer to your printer’s manual for instructions.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. Consider uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers if necessary.
Use Genuine HP Cartridges:
- Make sure you are using genuine HP cartridges, as non-genuine cartridges may cause compatibility issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
