Hi, the ink on my printer was replaced yesterday, but now when i print the paper rolls through but there is no ink on sheet of paper after it comes out. I tried to unplug and plug back in. the blue and pink began to print but the yellow and black were not on the alignment sheet so when i go to scan it wont accept the page.

@corinne011, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're dealing with a couple of issues with your HP printer. Let's try to address them step by step:

1. Ink Not Printing Properly

Since the yellow and black inks are not printing, here are some steps you can try:

  1. Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the yellow and black cartridges are properly installed and not empty or expired.
  2. Clean Printhead: Use the printer's maintenance menu to clean the printhead. This can often resolve issues with ink not printing.
  3. Align Printhead: If the printhead is misaligned, it can cause printing issues. You can usually find this option in the printer's settings menu.
  4. Update Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause printing issues.

2. Alignment Sheet Not Accepted by Scanner

If the alignment sheet is not being accepted, try the following:

  1. Check Alignment Sheet: Ensure the alignment sheet is placed correctly on the scanner glass. Follow the instructions on the sheet carefully.
  2. Clean Scanner Glass: Dust or smudges on the scanner glass can prevent the printer from reading the alignment sheet correctly. Clean the glass with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  3. Reprint Alignment Sheet: If the alignment sheet is damaged or printed incorrectly, try reprinting it and then scanning again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
