Hi @Sherry-L,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2320 All-In-One Printer is only printing in shades of green despite having black and colored ink cartridges installed, there could be several potential issues causing this problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot.

  • Check Ink Levels: Even if the printer's software indicates that there is ink in the cartridges, it's worth physically inspecting the cartridges to ensure they're not empty or low on ink. Remove the cartridges and visually inspect them.
  • Run Printer Diagnostics: Many printers have built-in diagnostic tools that can help identify and resolve common printing issues. Check your printer's manual or online support resources to find out how to run diagnostics.
  • Clean Print Heads: Over time, print heads can become clogged with dried ink or debris, which can affect print quality. Most printers have a built-in function to clean the print heads. You can typically find this option in the printer's settings menu or through the printer software on your computer.
  • Align Cartridges: Misaligned cartridges can cause printing issues, including incorrect colors. Most printers have an alignment function that you can access through the printer's settings menu or software.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause printing problems. You can usually download the latest drivers from the HP website.
  • Check Print Settings: Make sure that the print settings are configured correctly in the print dialog box on your computer. Ensure that you have selected the correct paper type, color settings, and print quality settings.
  • Try Printing from Another Device: If possible, try printing the same document from another device to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the printer or with the device you're printing from.

By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet 2320 printer only printing in shades of green.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
