Printer problem after cancelling instant ink

HP Recommended
HP Office Jet 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I cancelled instant ink, sent the remaining instant ink back to HP, and installed new ink I purchased from Best Buy. The printer continues to print in red when I try to print in color. HP is still charging for ink and has disabled my printer. It has been doing this for several months. How do I get control of my printer so it will print correctly?
