HP Officejet 5252

HP Officejet 5252 stopped printing. Says "Cannot print. Visit www.hpinstantink.com for information." Bought printer used. Wondering if it stopped printing b/c former owner's account expired? If so, if I get an account can I use the ink that is left in the printer? If not, what might be a solution.

@fsoftie10, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

You will have to get the Instant Ink credentials from the previous owner or delete the printer from that account and create your own Instant Ink account.

To know how to enroll the printer in instant Ink, click here.

If you do not want to use Instant Ink, you first have to deactivate the previous account and then use regular HP ink cartridges in the printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
