Printer won't print in color

The doc I am ready to print is text, with 5 lines in BOLD magenta and BOLD blue. But the printer is not reading the document as a color document. So the print pop up window comes up with no button for color, or for black and white. The image of the page in the print window is black and white. And the image prints black and white.

When you print the HP Test print by touching the printer control panel, it prints with the blue spots on the test print from HP. Next, I set my doc to print. It's still black and white.

I have touched the control panel bottom Left button that shows different colors. and then printed. Still black and white.
