My printer was running OK and printing with non-HP cartridges and now suddenly won't print. I've run the support app, which says there are no issues, but it still won't print. The printer display is saying there is a problem with the printer or ink system. I've turned on and off and disconnected from the power as well, but still no go. Could it be because two of my cartridges are not HP?
Hi Andre, thanks for replying. I found yesterday that the yellow generic cartridge is empty, so that's probably why the printer isn't printing. Being a generic cartridge the display didn't notify the replacement needd. So I have ordered a new HP cartridge, which I'll pick up on Wednesday. Hopefully that will solve the problem, The printer is quite old now and the cartridges are becoming difficult to obtain. Will keep you posted.
