@Zoup, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Power cycle the printer
Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet.
Wait for about 60 seconds.
Plug it back in and turn it on.
Check if the error persists.
Check printhead installation
Open the printer’s cartridge access door.
Remove all ink cartridges.
Lift the printhead latch (if your model has one).
Carefully remove the printhead.
Inspect the printhead for any visible damage or ink buildup.
Reinstall the printhead, making sure it’s seated firmly.
Close the latch and replace the cartridges.
Close the access door and see if the printer recognizes the printhead.
Clean printhead contacts
Power off the printer and unplug it.
Remove the printhead.
Use a lint-free cloth or paper towel slightly dampened with distilled water or isopropyl alcohol.
Gently clean the copper contacts on the printhead and inside the printer where the printhead connects.
Let everything dry completely.
Reinstall the printhead and cartridges.
Power on the printer.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
