Hi @Evey41,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your frustration with your HP printer printing unwanted documents every night. To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps to stop the automatic printing of wireless quick-start pages.

Cancel Print Jobs:

  • Ensure there are no print jobs in the printer queue. If there are, cancel them to prevent any further unwanted printing.

Check Scheduled Tasks:

  • Some printers have a feature that allows you to schedule print jobs at specific times. Check your printer's settings or control panel for any scheduled tasks and disable them.

Disable Automatic Updates:

  • HP printers might automatically download and print updates or diagnostic reports. Check the printer settings to disable automatic updates or diagnostic reports.

Firmware Update:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, firmware updates can address issues like unwanted printing. Check the HP website for the latest firmware for your printer model.

Wi-Fi Settings:

  • Check your printer's wireless settings to make sure it's not set up to automatically print when certain conditions are met. Disable any auto-print settings that may be enabled.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your printer to its factory default settings. Be cautious, as this will erase any customized settings. You can refer to your printer's manual or HP's support website for guidance on how to reset the printer.

Remember to save these settings and monitor your printer to ensure the problem is resolved. This should help stop unwanted printing and prevent it from disturbing your sleep and your cat.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
