HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dw

Could someone explain to me, why the laserjet pro M451 has the option of selecting the colour profile to be used for a specific printing job (in the printer options under color matching), while the 3x more expensive version that came out 8 years later - laserjet pro M454 - doesn't?

By the way... after reading this page https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-m453-m454-series/19202530/model/19203830/... that states how complex it is to match colours, someone might also explain to me as well why HP considers it the state of the art to put a printer that has a cyan, a magenta, a yellow and a black tonner to print in red, green, and blue, but seems to be unable to make that same printer print in cyan, magenta, yellow and black?

Thank you very much for your time.
