I need to find out the iron oxide/ferrite content in my ink for this printer. as I wish to print decal images to fire into clay. I have been unable to find MSDS or other helpful info about my printer. If anyone knows (or knows how to find out), I would appreciate it. Thanks!

@Robbor1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Thanks for reaching out. Just to clarify, HP toner and ink for standard printers generally don’t contain iron oxide or ferrite—they're not formulated for high-temp firing like what's needed for ceramic decal printing.
Also, are you using a genuine HP cartridge? That can make a difference in the materials used, and I’d love to help further once we know.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi Zoey, thanks for your reply. I am using a genuine HP cartridge, was just trying to ascertain whether the cartridge for this particular laser printer, the M209D, contains iron oxide or ferrite. My reading led me to believe that some HP laser printers do, but it seems impossible to find out for sure! Rather frustrating...I tried to access the MSDS sheet for this printer, but was unable to do so.
