Product: HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One Printer - H711n
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

We own two HP OfficeJet printers.  About two years ago we designated one of our printers as a black-only printer.  The black cartridge has run out and has now been replaced with a new HP branded black XL cartridge (932XL).  But the printer refuses to print, even in black only.  It appears that one of the color cartridges is exhausted (red X on the display).  Is it an HP requirement that we replace our color cartridge in our black-only printer?
