HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e All-in-One Printer

I received a warranty replacement (printer) and I replaced the ink with the ink that was shipped with the printer.  My printer will not print due to not the hpinstantink.  I have not signed up for this program nor do I want it.

Hi @Harding2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Ink Cartridge Installation:

  • Make sure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and that they are the original cartridges shipped with the replacement printer. Sometimes, incorrect installation can cause errors.

Disable Web Services:

  • On your printer's control panel, go to the setup menu and look for "Web Services."
  • Turn off Web Services to ensure your printer is not trying to connect to any subscription services.

Reinstall Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door, remove the cartridges, and reinstall them carefully. Ensure they click into place and the contacts are clean from dust or residue.

Check for Latest Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. Visit HP's website and download any available updates for your printer model.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

I hope this helps.
