I used to be able to print without being enrolled in the instant ink membership with my own bought hp ink cartridges…. Now all of a sudden it’s not letting me. I do NOT want to enroll in the instant ink program… how do I still print from the printer I bought?????

Hi-I’m out of town for the weekend but will check the error message on the screen once home. I was enrolled in the instant ink program when I first bought the printer. But lately was using HP ink cartridges from Amazon- same style and number as the instant ink. And used to work fine. Now the error message about the Cartridge is preventing me from printing anything!! And I need a printer for my work from home job. This is very very frustrating

Appreciate you taking the time to write back.
Meanwhile, you may want to try the steps below and see if that helps.
Here's what you need to know & do:
If you have an instant ink cartridge on your printer, remove it and discard that, you can only use regular cartridges on your printer once you cancel the program.
That said, if you have trouble using regular cartridges, I recommend you turn off the web service using the steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536
when done successfully, check if it works fine.
