Hi @CliffNice,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Reinstall the Print Head and Ink Cartridges

  1. Turn on the Printer: Ensure the printer is turned on.
  2. Open Ink Cartridge Access Door: Lift from the front right of the product until the door locks into place. The print carriage will move to the center of the product.
  3. Remove Ink Cartridges: Carefully remove all ink cartridges by pressing the tab on each cartridge to release it and pulling it out of its slot.
  4. Lift the Latch Handle: Lift the latch handle on the print carriage until it stops.
  5. Remove the Print Head: Lift the print head and take it out.
  6. Clean the Print Head: Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water to clean three areas of the print head: the nozzles, the edge between the nozzles and contacts, and the electrical contact area. Be careful not to touch these areas with your fingers.
  7. Reinsert the Print Head: Reinstall the print head into the carriage and carefully lower the latch handle.
  8. Reinsert Ink Cartridges: Slide each ink cartridge into its respective slot, ensuring it clicks into place and is seated firmly.
  9. Close Ink Cartridge Access Door: Close the access door to see if the error message is resolved.

I hope this helps.
