Problems with HP Envy 110 Printer and 300 Cartridge

HP Recommended
HP Envy 110 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The printer alternates between saying I have a non-HP cartridge and the cartridge is damaged.

It is a HP genuine cartridge and is only few months old.

I have read that HP have unethically tried to prevent users using non HP cartridges via software updates - so I had top go and buy an extortionate genuine cartridge from Amazon (return p[period just expired)  - only for that to not work now!!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

If you insert your old ink, do you still get an error message?

Try the steps from here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05365403

Let me know if this helps.
