Product came with no set-up cartridges.

Hello.

I have the HP ENvy 5032 All-In-One printer that I bought back in 2020. I didn't open it or used it since then as I was gifted a different printer before it was delivered, and decided to put my purchased printer away for when my gifted printer was unable to be used.

And today was that day, but when I opened my HP Envy 5032, there was no set-up cartridges inside the box to set up my printer. I checked every article, went through the virtual assistant, and even went through this community page as well as youtube. I must stress that this printer has not been opened or used since I got it back in 2020! There should be set-up inks, but there is nothing! If I've known this earlier, I would've reached out during the warranty or even sent it back to the shop I bought it from.

Is there ANYTHING I can help that isn't reading endless articles that doesn't solve my problem in the slightest? This product is useless without it, and I think it's ridiculous that HP doesn't offer any set-up inks to request if something like this happens.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out — and don’t worry, we completely understand how frustrating this must be after keeping your printer in perfect condition all this time.

We’ll be able to help you get your HP Envy 5032 up and running. Since the setup cartridges are missing, and the printer won’t proceed without them, we’ll need to perform a semi-full reset on the unit. 

We’ll send the steps to perform the reset via private message, as performing this reset on the wrong unit may brick the printer.
