I am chatting right now with HP support staff with the exact same symptoms... interestingly enough I noticed a message on hp instant ink website about:
Important: Cartridge Problem
You may have received Cyan (blue) and/or Yellow HP Instant Ink cartridge(s) with a potential quality issue. Please refer to the email you recently received for complete information and install the replacement cartridges as soon as they arrive."
(except I never received any email, I did receive another set of cartridges shortly later though)
Please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
